From Taba, board the ferry boat to Aqaba, Jordan, where you will be met and assisted by our local representative. You will then be transferred directly to Petra, located approximately one hour north of Aqaba.
Upon arrival in Petra, begin your unforgettable exploration of the legendary Rose-Red City, the ancient capital of the Nabateans and one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological sites. Surrounded by towering hills of beautifully colored sandstone, Petra benefited from its natural landscape as a form of protection against invaders.
Enjoy a memorable journey through this extraordinary lost city, with its magnificent monuments carved directly into the mountains. Ride a horse toward the entrance of the famous Siq, the spectacular narrow canyon formed by a natural crack in the sandstone cliffs.
Continue your exploration to discover some of Petra’s most impressive landmarks, including the Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Qasr Al-Bint, and the Petra Archaeological Museum, where you can learn more about the history and civilization of the Nabateans.

Later, board the ferry boat from Aqaba back to Taba. Upon arrival in Taba, your Holiday Escape representative will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Dahab.
