The Holiday Escape guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. You will then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, belonging to the Pyramid of Chephren. After that, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and continue your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world.
The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Pre-Dynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. It also features the magnificent statues of the great kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the builders of the pyramids on the Giza Plateau. An impressive collection of papyri, sarcophagi, jewelry, and many other artifacts completes this uniquely rich museum.
