Your first stop will be Abydos, one of the most sacred cities in ancient Egypt and traditionally associated with Osiris, the god of the afterlife. Here, you will visit the magnificent Temple of Seti I, which was begun by King Seti I and completed by his son, King Ramesses II.
The temple is famous for its beautifully preserved reliefs and colorful depictions of ancient Egyptian gods and pharaohs. The detailed artwork on the walls of the Osiris complex is considered among the finest surviving examples of ancient Egyptian decoration.
After exploring Abydos, continue your journey to Dendera, located north of Luxor, to visit the impressive Temple of Hathor. Dedicated to Hathor, the ancient Egyptian goddess associated with love, joy, music, and motherhood, the temple is renowned for its stunning reliefs, massive columns, and beautifully decorated halls.
After completing your visits, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
