Discover the spectacular rose-red city of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabataean Kingdom and one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the world. Carved directly into the mountains, Petra is often described as the “Lost City” and offers an unforgettable journey through history.
Begin your exploration with a traditional horse ride toward the Siq, the dramatic natural canyon that forms the main entrance to Petra. Continue on foot through the approximately 1.2-kilometre-long Siq, admiring the impressive rock formations and ancient carvings, statues, idols, and niches along the way.
