Itinerary

Day 1

At 6:00 AM, your **The Holiday Escape** guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to Kom Ombo, approximately a one-hour drive.

Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely located on high ground overlooking the Nile. The temple is distinguished by its unusual double design, with each side dedicated to a different deity. It was dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, the ancient falcon-headed form of Horus. Kom Ombo was also an important agricultural region, particularly known for its sugarcane production.

Continue your journey to Edfu, where you will visit the impressive Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. It is considered one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. According to ancient Egyptian mythology, Edfu was the site where Horus avenged the murder of his father, Osiris, by defeating Seth.

Afterward, continue driving to the East Bank of Luxor, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive religious sites in ancient Egypt, dedicated primarily to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Continue to Luxor Temple, a remarkable ancient monument that was largely constructed during the reign of Amenhotep III and later expanded by other pharaohs.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor for overnight accommodation.

**Meals: Lunch, Dinner**

Day 2

your The Holiday Escape representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to the West Bank to begin your tour.

Your first stop will be the famous Valley of the Kings, one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Egypt. The valley was used as a royal burial ground for many pharaohs of the New Kingdom and is home to numerous beautifully decorated tombs. Among the most famous are the tombs of Thutmose I, Thutmose III, Tutankhamun, Ramesses VI, Merenptah, and Amenhotep II.

Continue your tour with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most impressive monuments. The temple was built for Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmose I, who ruled Egypt for approximately 20 years.

After completing your tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your journey to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
