Start your unforgettable Luxor day trip from Dahab with Holiday Escape. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Dahab and transfer you to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight to Luxor.
Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative before meeting your professional Egyptologist guide, who will accompany you throughout your sightseeing tour.
Your first stop will be the magnificent Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in ancient Egypt and one of the greatest examples of ancient Egyptian religious architecture. The complex was dedicated primarily to the worship of Amun-Ra, along with his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. With a knowledgeable and academically qualified Egyptologist guide, you will gain a deeper understanding of the history, mythology, and significance of the monuments you visit.
After your visit to Karnak Temple, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue your tour to the legendary Valley of the Kings, the ancient royal burial ground where numerous pharaohs were laid to rest. The valley is home to many remarkable tombs, including those associated with Thutmose I, Thutmose III, Tutankhamun, Ramesses VI, Merenptah, and Amenhotep II.
Next, discover the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most remarkable female rulers. Built at Deir el-Bahari and dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, the temple is famous for its unique architectural design and dramatic location beneath the cliffs.
Your final sightseeing stop will be the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III and the most prominent surviving remains of his mortuary temple.
After completing your Luxor sightseeing tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Dahab
