At 6:00PM , a representative from Holiday Escape will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to Luxor Train Station to board your train to Cairo. The journey takes approximately 9 hours.
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our representative and begin your sightseeing tour. Your first stop will be the famous Pyramids of Giza, where you will admire the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. You will then visit the Great Sphinx, featuring the head of a Pharaoh and the body of a lion.
Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum, home to an impressive collection of artifacts dating back to the Pharaonic period. The museum houses thousands of years of Egyptian art, including the famous treasures, gold, and jewelry of King Tutankhamun.
Continue your tour to Coptic Cairo, where you will discover Egypt’s Christian and Jewish heritage through visits to the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Afterward, head to Islamic Cairo and explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic bazaar, where you can experience the traditional atmosphere and browse the local shops.
At the end of the tour, transfer to Cairo Train Station for your return journey to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
